Wow! What a game huh? The fourth quarter, last 3 minutes of the game. New York Giants only losing by few points run the football down the field and then Manning hit Plaxico Burress on a 13-yard fade with 35 seconds left scoring a touchdown.

Game Over!  Final Score: 17-14 win
The New England Patriots got the ball back, But as you watched they were struggling to get the ball far enough down the field and running out of timeouts.

It came down to 1 second left on the clock and NFL ruled the last play must be played out.

Then Wham in that one second, the most watch televised NFL Super Bowl game of 2008 was over and the New York Giants took the victory and spoiled the New England’s Patriots  No loss season, leaving Miami still holding the record from 1972.

The Giants are nothing if not resilient. Because they were technically the visiting team, they won their 11th consecutive road game, including all four playoff wins.

They were the wild card team!

Manning completed 19 of 34 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns. For two weeks, the focus was on the Patriots and their date with destiny. Few outside the locker room in East Rutherford, N.J., gave the Giants much of a chance.
